Born and raised in the San Diego area, Bob has always been an active community advocate. An athlete by nature, he has participated in over 100 endurance events, including the Hawaii Ironman Triathlon. He faced the ultimate challenge when diagnosed with cancer, but Bob beat the odds, coming out the other side with a renewed appreciation of life, family and the beauty that surrounds us.

In his free time, Bob enjoys swimming, jogging and walking along the beach with his dog Scruffy and his wife of more than 30 years. Their three children are now grown, and the family remains close, celebrating holidays and life's milestones together.
